now i dont get features such as wildcards on a domain, do u have to have your domain hosted on a site to use them or can you use them with a free domain redirection service like jwdx.com or wzr.net?

cos at the moment i have my .com.kg domain set up at everydns and the A record is set to jwdx.com and i wanted to know if and how do i get wilcards to work?

if these free redirection services dont allow wildcards, is there any that do??

thanks

Well, most often you'd set another A Record like:

* A 123.123.123.123

But I'm not sure you have a dedicated IP to do this with, nor control over the server to set this up otherwise.

well jwdx.com (the redirect service) gives a shared ip to people to set an a record, now i have it set to *.ozefrog.com.kg A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

is that right

It isn't going to work with a shared IP, and I'm guessing that they aren't going to set it up on the server, so this isn't a solution.
