I got this idea from the vBulletin forums. Please keep to rules of the game and this will be fun . :)
Rules :
1) Answer with short answer and start with A:
2) Ask a short question and start with a Q:
3) This first post will be the only post with a Question-Answer-Question for obvious reasons.
4) If a double post is made by two people posting at the same time, just do your best to correct your Answer to match that of the above question or say Double Post and move on. Try not to change your question or this can get really messed up...
Start question:
Who's the best FWS member?
A: LastActionHero!
Q: Don't you love those Yupapa threads?
LeX
September 8th, 2001, 10:12
A: The funny ones yeah...
Q: What's the point of this?
Dusty
September 8th, 2001, 10:22
A: If this were a threaded message board, perhaps this would have a point...
Q: ...but since it's linear, aren't you going to end up reading them all anyway?
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 10:56
A: Yeah. That's the point.
Q: Don't you think threaded boards are much more difficult to read?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 10:59
A: Not really, if you're on a low bandwidth connection.
Q: Why did you bring this annoying topic here...are you trying to make a 100 page thread?
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:05
A: I thought this might be fun.
Q: Have you ever printed a 200 page document?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 11:16
A: Yes, at my school library at 4pt font.
Q: Did you know I started a thread just like this and it got crushed after 30 pages :o?
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:19
A: I didn't know.
Q: Why did it get crushed?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 11:32
A: Some people starting thinking it was stupid, and stopped posting to the thread. Wasn't this board though.
Q: Which you rather have running on your server, Win NT 4.0 or Win 2000?
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:35
A: None!! :p I prefer *nix/FreeBSD
Q: I'm going off now. Do you think this thread will go past page 3 when I log on tommorow?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 11:36
A: I have my doubts.
Q: If you HAD to have Win2000/WinNT4 on a server that you leased, which would you pick? ;) (They both suck, I know)
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:39
A: I would go for Win 2000
Q: Why are you going for Windows servers?
LeX
September 8th, 2001, 11:42
A: Because most softwares are compatible with Windows only.
Q: How is this supposed to be fun?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 11:42
A: It isn't.
Q: Perl quiz time! What does this syntax mean: "=~"? 5....4....3....2
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:44
A: I'm not good at Perl :o
Q: What languages do you know?
niv
September 8th, 2001, 11:46
A: Let's see...English, Latin (DEAD), Japanese, C, C++, Perl, PHP... SQL if you consider that a language...
Q: What languages do YOU know?
LastActionHero
September 8th, 2001, 11:49
A: English, Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit(all Indian languages), Java, C, C++, SQL (yes it's a language), PHP(learning),BASIC.
Q: What to think of C#?
bigperm
September 8th, 2001, 12:52
A: i don't even know what that is.
Q: What do you think of chapstick?
Gayowulf
September 8th, 2001, 14:57
A. I think chapstick is fun to smear on cars.
Q can we stop this thread now?
vedette
September 8th, 2001, 15:01
A: Not until my turn! :D
Q: Have you ever made your own boxers?
coolguy23
September 8th, 2001, 15:01
a: yeah, that would be a good idea
q: what are some good site to learn php?
double post...
Nick
September 8th, 2001, 15:15
A: None, get a book.
Game over, Nick wins.

We couldn't allow you to beat YUPAPA!!! on starting the longest thread. :p
LastActionHero
September 9th, 2001, 02:06
eh? Why not? Is that Yupapa's priviledge only?
LeX
September 9th, 2001, 07:12
No, it's something only YUPAPA is able to accomplish. :p
Dusty

We couldn't allow you to beat YUPAPA!!! on starting the longest thread. :pIf we're talking about this forum specifically, then I now hold the coveted title of longest thread with "I'm back" scoring 158 replies and 936 views. I'm top in terms of replies only, in views I'm second to "Windows 3.1" which only has 38 replies but 2704 views (that's just bizarre).
If we're talking about all the forums, then neither I nor Yupapa have the longest thread, we're both beaten by Datablocks with "Update on Datablocks.net", weighing in at 198 replies, 7098 views.
And naturally, we're not counting mythical threads that no longer exist. ;)
Coolin
September 9th, 2001, 16:32
I believe YUPAPA has the largest number of threads with over 50 and 100 replies.
niv

I had a 700+-post thread (not on this board), but then it was closed by the mods. :(

Nope, sorry, the longest thread on this forum was locked after 283 replies. It's titled "longest thread (http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5406)". (Gee, who would've guessed?)

Hey, cool, I have started 2 threads that are in the top 10!
Overall YUPAPA wins because he has 4 threads with over 110+ replies. You (Dusty) on the other hand only have 1 thread with 158 replies...
