I know no mySQL whatsoever, and need a good tute. I'm sure some of you know a good one. I'm learning php and making a script that will have a large hierachy(sp?) database, that stores many variables. So, some good knowledge on how a mySQL database works and how to add, edit, change stuff in it would be nice. Thanks!

Been to all those sites. I need a very basic one. I don't understand how all the stuff is laid out in the table or whatever. I have looked around, and haven't found any good tutorials. Anyone?

These tuts are targetted at beginners.
1. http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/MySQL/Intro/ (Nicely written and very good)
2. http://www.hotwired.com/webmonkey/programming/php/tutorials/tutorial4.html
and finally the tutorial from the official manual
3. http://www.mysql.com/documentation/mysql/bychapter/manual_Tutorial.html
Hope that helps!
