the best free php/mysql discussion board

what is the best free discussion board? i have tried tforum and phpBB looks good. any better ones or personal favorites that are tried and tested?

Check out Ikonboard. It isn't php board or mysql but the one they are planning to release somewhere around christmas uses some kind of an database system. It is very nice board already but its 'just' cgi-board.

I agree. I've used phorum for quite a while -- very good script.

Yes, phorum is quite good... Only it's sad that it doesn't have members like vbulletin and phpbb have...

Then on the other hand phorum gives you more customization when it comes to how the threads should be displayed...
