Hello,

Where can i build a really nice homepage with templates for free?

I would also like stats if possible.

I don't need any thing else .. i don't even want to be able to upload.

On the ad front .... foot banner , foot button or foot textlink are the only acceptable.

I'm confused as to what exactly you're looking for.

If you want to design a site, then how does that fit in with stats, ads and Geocities? :confused:

I am looking for exactly what i said i was looking for!

I want to find somewhere taht will let me design a website using templates.

As i said, i am with Geocities, but having problems.

The templates at Geocities are fine .. it's the other stuff that is annoying me.

Geocities let you design a website using templates and provide stats.

So as i said i am looking for someone who provides the same.

My biggest hope i that i can find somewhere that will have better templates for designing the site, than Geocities did.

Oh... you mean like one of those homepage builder things. The part that confused me was thet you said you didn't want them to allow uploads. I guess that makes sense though since you want to desing the site online.


I think http://tripod.com might work for you. They have a lot of template options. Hope that's what you meant.

I have the webtv versin ... called NetBox ...

Just can't download ..... :(

So is there any place else i could design a three page site ... something along the lines of Geocities?

Geocities is fine for making the site .. but the stats don't work and files are alllways unavailable.

Oh yeah ... one good thing about my NetBox ... this will make you laugh ....

You can't see pop ups! ... it's as if they don't exist ...

10 months .. and i have never seen one pop up .... :)

Lex .. you are right .. i have found what i was looking for thanks to some helpful people.

If i had of put my post in Free Web Hosts ... no doubt you or someone else would have proberely said ....

.. "you should have posted this in Website Design" .... so i guess i can't win.

99% of the hosts recommened in Free Web Hosts ... do not use templates .. such as f2s and doteasy .. etc.

I guess my post ... "belongs" .... as you put it ... somewhere in the middle of Free Hosting and Web Site Design.

So If i have somehow offended you by posting here i am sorry ... but as i have said .. i can't please everyone.
