What do you think of Tripod?

Because my school blocks "certain sites" with their filter it means that web host sign up pages tend to be blocked probably because they contain the word "pornography" or something similar.

As a result Tripod seems to be one of the lucky few I can sign up with. What are your opinions?

Tripod is a very fast and reliable web host. Because it's a part of Lycos you can expect your site to last for years on Tripod...
Currently they only offer ssi. Maybe someday cgi will be available. Who knows...

If you have a site that doesn't need any cgi, than Tripod is a good choice.

Hmmmmm.... i don't know why, but on the german version of Tripod, my cgi things are working very fien, isn't this crazy? :p :confused2

Geocities and tripod are pretty stable. Their pretty nice.
