Hello folks,
I need a dedicated server for domain names registration services. The offers are huge but where to find the right one ?
I have found a cobalt raq4 for less than $100. Another dedicated for less than $80 with Linux and 128Mo + 20Go disk space.
What do you think of that and what are the right places ?
Thank you all.

Do you know walstonet.com ?
they have a simple hosting solution with the possibility of having personal name servers like in a dedicated server.
What do you think of that ? Other web hosting sites provide that too ?
Thank you all.

Do you need a dedicated server for a domain reg. service? If not, it is about $80 too much.

yes it is for a registering domain names business.
But I've found a place where they give you DNS with your domain name for only $25 a year !
Isn't it the good answer ?

I doubt you'd need a dedicated server for that. Also, if you'd like DNS and domain registration, check http://stargateinc.com/ and http://www.enom.com

thank you for the information. But the business I'm preparing is the same. So I don't think they're gonna help me doing that.
All I need is DNS with MY domain name to provide to a registrer for an affiliate program.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. You want a dedicated server to run DNS off of for this domain reg. service? If I still don't get it, be patient :D
You can use either of those places with your own server and DNS as well. Price is just much less. Also http://www.istyourdomain.com offers some decent rates if you email them.
