I'm using them for my personal site - seem to be pretty good!

What are your opinions/reviews of this host?

A lot of people don't know that these "hosts" are really just a tower in a boiler room...A lot of hosts probably are "well off" and have their equipment and access bought and paid for...so, you never can tell.

Well the server's are hosted at cais you could do a trace route since I am in UK the likly hood is there not in my boiler room :). As for being bannerless that will last if the paid hosting does well enough to cover it. Banner advertising is useless at the minute and isn't worth my time putting on members pages. When the paid hosting gets set up (next 2 weeks) then there may have to be some change's.

No offense or anything, but nobody can offer unlimited anything. Not even a paid host. Unlimited bandwidth is almost as bad as unlimited webspace, it will attract people who use up way too much.

What do you sugest I offer, most people haven't a clue about bandwidth they just know that unlimited means they wont run out. Many people will never use more than 200 megs a month but then again if I put a limit of 1gig/month they might not sign up simply because they don't know what it means. Unlimited meaning not limited I think that it is fair enough to keep bandwidth not limited and if a case where a site sucks alot of bandwidth then we looks into it. One thing is we host big sites for free and they use alot of bandwidth we just orginise an advertising deal with them I don't see why we couldn't do the same to any high power users on the free hosting.

Ugh. I can't have ads...

It's one of those arty personal sites. Ads just don't work. I can't offer hosting yet, I'm still in school...I get paid for my first web development job in about 2 months though...

I hope 9cy stays free/bannerless... Even if you only give me 30mb it's all good :).
