i heard that cc domain is free to register. OK. now a question.. is there on net any free service that will register this (and redirection or web space) (any domain..not only cc) ??? no adds?!!

Nope, .cc is one of the more expensive ones, actually. There are several registrars, but all charge about the same. You can get a subdomain of uni.cc for free at http://www.uni.cc. That's probably what you heard about. :)
