.TV domains...$1,000 a year?

Out of curiosity, I went to check out the .tv domain names, and after I tried to place an order, it came up as $1,000 a year? Yikes!

certain names are different prices (porn.tv cartoons.tv). Shorter domains cost more (12.tv pad.tv 3ld.tv), and all others are $50 per year.

This is incorrect. If you look closely, you'll see a small asterisk (*) by that price. It is $1,000/yr. **plus** that price increases by 5% every year.

Year 1 = $1,000
Year 2 = $1,050
Year 3 = $1,105

-and so on. Which can be quite pricey for the short 2 or 3 letter .tv domains. Yes, it gets worse every year (you only thought it was high *now* :))

Hmmm... I think I caan live without a .tv for a while! Why not just buy the ".com" name you want? probaly be cheaper! :)

lol..yeah, I think I will stick with a .com!
