MS Outlook has the office assistan buy MS Outlook Express doesn't.

And in exchange for the office assistant, you give up auto-complete on email addresses.

Seriously though, you can set up macros and such to do filtering, perform actions, and many other things an email client probably doesn't need to do. Did I mention it doesn't do auto-complete?

Get more viruses if you set your default email client to MS - Word.

I believe there is an option in MS-Outlook to make MS-Word your default email editor.

When you first configure Outlook, it'll ask you if you want to set MS-Word as your default mail editor. This won't launch ms-word when you write an e-mail, it'll just add word's features to outlook (like grammar checker, auto-correct, etc.) It slows my machine down when I have that turned on, and like LastActionHero said, it leaves you open to more viruses, so I leave it off. I don't really need all that fancy word stuff when I write e-mails anyway, just give me a spell checker, and I'm happy! :)

Maybe I got, but I forgot.

Oh, I forgot to install Part 2 of my MS Office 2000 Pro.

To b: Microsoft Outlook is named as Microsoft Outlook but Outlook Express doesn't have the name Microsoft Outlook :p
