And technically...Spiderman is anime... No way.. the style differs way too much. And the animation of Spiderman isn't as good as most anime.

anime = Japanese style animation
cartoon = American style animation

You're hopeless...I said technically, Spiderman is anime, and secondly, why do you think ex.org slightly covers disney ---- airing in Japan?

I say you're the one who's confused. :p Anime simply is not the same thing as cartoon, anime is specifically Japanese animation, nothing else.

I like the artwork in Japanese style cartoons much more than American style ones. But I don't really think American cartoons are bad, quite a few are still good when it comes to the story.

Yes, but you do have to admit the stories in some of the animes not designated for child-viewers are a hell of a lot better than American cartoons...because they're all designated for children with the exception of those on Comedy Central.
