Is there anything similar to Alexa where you get stats for all sites you visit on how they rank compared to other sites in terms of number of visitors? For instance Alexa reports that CNN ranks as the #144th most visited site.

I beleive Alexa stats is not very updated, so I'm looking for something better.

Alexa gives you stats of traffic to the site you visit. For instance this is CNN.com:

Traffic: **** ( Top 1,000 )
Ranking: #144
Links In: 804,436
Speed: *****
Average User Rating: *****
User Reviews: 32
Total Votes: 63
Total Alexa Visits: 1,770,435

I'm looking for similar websites/services ranking all websites. For instance I've seen websites where you can rank sites based on how many links in that site has. But I forgot the url...

alexa ranks yahoo #7 but again, I don't know how reliable that info is and if there is any other better source.

Alexa stats haven't been updated lately. You should follow the reports published by Jupiter Media Matrix or Ac Neilson/Net Ratings in the media. But they give only the top 10 or top 50 sites.

It's pretty goofy now, My site only gets about 10-20 hits a day but last month Alexa visited my site a whopping 15 times! That's a lot considering I know a site which gets 50000 uniques and got only 4 visits.

If nobody has answers, then no one should post anything since it will be of no help at all. (Sorta like this post, but hey, I was helping you! See? So this is considered a helpful post. Sorta. :p)

I'm not quite sure how accurate it is, but 7Search offers TrafficRanking (http://www.trafficranking.com/) to rank websites. CNN scored a 67, which I guess is pretty accurate.
