No it isn't.
Easy CD Creator 5, with it's hard drive backup options and stuff, totally kills Windows 2000. It's good for people to know this so they don't have to reformat.
BTW, I believe installing Easy CD Creator without any of the options for backup will fix this problem. Or just get Nero :)

I believe it does that for xp also, but I have never tried so I'm not sure. I did find some instructions to install Easy CD Creator a different way on xp though.

That might have caused my win2k install to get messed up. And my 8x burner could only do 4x max under win2k.

I'm running Easy CD Creator 4 on Windows 2000. Works ok after I installed all the necessary patches.
Haven't tried version 5, is this the one that's causing trouble?
