The digie.net Network is based on 5 Servers. Each on its own Dedicated Internet Connection. Connection Speeds Vary From 1.5MB/s to 40+MB/s.
Seems pretty stable to me, and you have to sign up by email, this makes it more controlled, I think it will last

I don't think it will last... How exactly do they plan to pay for the servers when they don't have any income?

speeds vary from 1.5mb/s to +40mb/s. That's a BIG gap and a BIG difference. It's like saying.. prices for a new car vary from $15,000 to $30,000.
Of course they vary. But if I am going to buy a car that costs $20,000.. well I want it to remain at $20,000 and not drop down to $15,000 the next day. Same goes for speed. I don't want one day the server have a speed of 10mb/s and than the next day 1.5mb/s (which isn't even cable.. cable is 2.5mb/s. DSL is 1.5mb/s)
Just my .02 cents (or did the price go up?)

now i'm checking the speed of digie.net...
its damn damn damn damn slow as it hasn't loaded for me, and a 80% chance it will timeout.

Well. I thought I had to sort this out clearly.
digie.net looked up to 4.43.175.57
Again 4.43.175.57 looked up to lsanca1-ar19-175-057.lsanca1.dsl.gtei.net (don't believe, check it yourself)
LOL, anybody ever heard of a 40MB/s DSL?

Conclusion: All requests were timed out. Either 1) The host has a firewall blocking pings or 2) They are as slow as hell!
Overall Review
They offer IRCd hosting free too. I don't think this place will last tim tomorrow. I give it a 2 out of 10. Yuk! I reccommend http://www.digital-host.net

Hi guys!
I had the chance of talking with one of the people from the site and here is what he want to say:
i dont really care what these people think
i dont gain or lose money... by these comments
when its a payhost and i start chargeing for service
then they have a right to say whatever they want... but till then they can just go somewhere else if they dont like it :\
