May I Know what is Deep Linking? I only heard of Hot linking and Remote Linking. Is it the same meaning?

You mean linking from one server to another?

I don't think there's any more out there since f2s closed signups. They have to pay for bandwidth when people hotlink.

i go to another board like this, but we can post images. i want ot post my picture up on the site.

and i need deeplinking/hotlinking/

to do so...

i upload the file...and it's gives my pic an address

so that i use that address and add [url]
so that the picture can be viewed on the board...


do you know of such a place?

I don' t think that'll be of much use for most of the people around here.

Anyway, use geocities and rename it to .txt. freehost.nu allows you to link .jpg and angelfire allows .gif

Rename the file as joeguns5.txt and then link the image as joeguns5.txt

i tried the renaming to .txt thing and geocities deleted my account about 3 mins after i hotlinked to it. better off with www.psend.com

If that's the only thing you used the account for than of course they will.

I think he is referring to hotlinking. Try change the extension in geocities to .txt .
