It's not like they're going to put AddHandler cgi-script .zip in every single one of your directories

i think liquid2k doesn't sphosting, i'm not so sure, netfirms, not so sure.

It's possible to prevent certain file formats from being uploaded to your server.

Like .mp3, but why .zip? The legality can be questionable, but it should not be totally banned.
Netscape, a better idea maybe to upload it uncompressed so that you won't have any problems if your files are legit.

Some hosts avoid .zip as many of these files are large and take up bandwidth, regardless of whether or not they're legal.
