No it's not that reliable, but you can't beat the price. As low as $20 per mbps (about 6 cents per gig).

some hosts may be willing to cut a deal. ie. you pay 10 a month and display so many popunder/popup ads, or refer so many customers or display ads or something

If you have no objection to being on tera-bytes servers and doing a couple flips, you can get 20 GB (or up to 1 GB @ day) transfer a month & unlimited space upgrades (starts @ 20MB -you have to request more) for $20.00 a year. No, no domain hosting, you'd have to redirect thru mydomain.com or somewhere. Like I said, it's going to take a couple flips.

Anyway, if you wanna' try it, grab a free web site at http://spaceports.com and pay the $20.00 to get the ads off the site.

Maybe not an "ideal" solution, but the only one I can think of that's cheap.
