How could I sell a script?

How could I sell a script that I made? I want to know what is the easyest method for selling the script and getting it to them. Any help would be a help for me.

PS. the scipt I am trying to sell is the PHPRank scipt that I have made.

Either sell them on $.49 CD-Rs and get a label(sp?) maker, which is more reliable and more IMHO.

Or you could setup a site that was password protected where users were emailed a username/code after payment was recieved and they could get in there, download, tech support, etc.

Or if you're looking for an alternative method, there's always floppies :D

I like the CD idea, and I can do it too.

but another question is how can I get people to pay? like a money order or something?

I suggest you use all of the following:

Credit Card
Paypal (Even the lawfirm I work at uses this)
Cashier's Checks
Money Order

I am only 17, meaning I have no Credit Card, so money order would still be a good way to go?

A CC is easy to get. Just have your parents sign you up for one with a small spending limit. Simple as that. I have friends that are 14 and have CCs. And do you need a CC to take orders with one?

Check out services such as instabill.com paypal (as mentioned), etc. These allow you to accept credit cards via the net, and some of these types of places offer immediate download for things like scripts. My suggestion: two scripts. One free (limited features), and a paid upgraded version.

I do have 2 scripts, a free one with limited features and a paid one. I just want to know what is the easyest way to get my money for the scipt and get them the scipt easy. I want to try to stay away form credit cards and that kind of stuff if I can. but I do want to know if a money order is good enough for what I am doing?

Both of these are refillable cards where you use a savings/checking account or your parents credit card to put money into it, and you use it like a real credit card. It has online spending tracking too.

They are both kinda like a refillable gift card, only you can use it anywhere credit cards are accepted.

Most online users prefer to pay using credit card since it's fast and you can deliver the goods to them immediately.

Currently, I use Kagi.com which I would highly recommend, in terms of fees/service/support, though they may lack a bit in features.

I've used their service for over a year and am quite satisfied with it.

i use kagi as well. i like it alot.
no setup fees, no monthly fees so if you do not sell anything you pay nothing.

I have looked at paypal and they only allow you to get $100 dollers a month from CCs. I have also looked at instabill.com and they look good, but I want to know if anyone knows of any other places?
