Maybe, cuz it might shut down sooner or later. I heard that http://www.1dollarhosting.com has been around for a while though.

If you ask me, their non-refundable 49US$ membership fee is a rip-off. At best, it sucks ---.

Plans look good, but about 1dollarhosting, they require a lifetime membership of $109 I think and they can't offer "unlimited" for $1/month.

Yes, we're for real! :)

I do understand the comments about longevity though. We are entering our 4th year of service, so we've been around for a bit. And since it's a family-run business whose owners operate it full-time as their only source of income, chances are we'll be around for many, many years - that is, if the kids want to eat and one day maybe go to college. :book:

Anyway, you can check with some of our clients at our Communty Forum (http://community.5dollarhosting.com) and get a sense of their experiences with us. It's always a good idea to get as many real-life opinions as you can to help make your choice.
