my question is that when your right click on my computer and click on properties it says registered to :
is there a way that i can change this?

You could always reinstall windows and then enter a different name when they ask. I don't know of any other way htough.

Fire up regedit, find(in win98 at least):

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\

And edit the "Registered Owner" to what ever you want.

You using WinME? WinME doesn't have those kind of stuff unless maybe you run regedit
