It SUCKS.

I do not have flash and I absolutely hate it when I see sites that use it extensivly. They just sit there with a blank background. Provide a link to a page describing what's in the flashfiles. At least use the ALT tag.

And you should not dare to reply with "Hey, get flash, dude!". I can't, I already tried.

You can't? why not? The link goes directly into the macromedia download center.

You only need the player anyway, not the whole program.

Yes, but I understand where Trekchick is coming from. If you've got content on your pages, you really shouldn't need to force users to conform just so they can navigate your site (although the banner's nice). Flash isn't necessary for such things really, and you could perhaps provide links underneath just in case. Try using regular graphics + javascript instead.

Because this poor student lives in a college dorm behind a macromedia download proof firewall, that's why I can't get the program unless I buy it.

Also my stone-aged PC is too cranky that I'm going to try any harebrained stunts like installing new software. I'm happy that it works at all.

Just to re-a-firm everything everyone else has said and add my own little comments ....

leave off the flash .... oh and the Stuff about me page sux ... yellow background :rolleyes:

Try and do a HTML page with Fireworks graphics :)

I am sorry to say this but the site is not very good.
Flash is only used for very, very good sites (like http://www.2advanced.com for example) or advertisements. If the site is bad it is most likely the flash is overused and the design is awful, your site fits that category.
