This is a major break for the Northern Alliance, and they done it very well. Casualities I heard for the Taliban were 500 killed, the NA lost somewhere between 40-50. This is major, really major. The isolated N.A territory now can be resupplied. The Northern Alliance could have all of Afghanistan in months because of steady flow of arms from Russia and the US.
