CD Burner, Adaptec software question

do any of you have this software that you use? I got it with my cd burner, but the software does not want to work for me. its stops resoponding all the time. some times it stops in the middle of burning a CD.

Does anyone know of a better pice of software that I could use? that is free or really cheap?

Your problem may actually be your computer and not your software. I use Adaptec 4.0 and I have not had a problem at all. If you want, you can try other software such as Nero and EZ Burn. Both can be found at http://www.download.com.

Well, Adaptec Easy CD Creator is the best program IMHO; however, I know a few people that say Nero Burning ROM is really good to. I think there might be an evaluation at http://www.download.com. You might want to check it out.

I have the Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.0 as well, and have never had a problem with it.

It might be your computer, as was already stated above (I know).

Might be Windows Media Player 8 playing up. Those two have some conflicts in matter DLLs...

I don't have media player 8 tho. I have it kinda fixed. It gets to 99% done and just in the last sec. it will stop responding, I can still listing to the CD tho, so I am not to worryed about it now. But I would still like to fix it to get to 100%.
