Sponsorships.net and WebsiteSponsors are both owned and controlled by the same company (iBoost), so they should be seen as complementary services, not competitors.

The focus of Sponsorships.net is text and graphics-based cost-per-action programs, including pay-per-click and pay-per-lead programs. Some of these convert really well (I received an effective CPC of about 40c on the Everyone.net link last month, but effective CPCs of 0c on others). Sponsorships.net also offers sponsor boxes that rotate text links paying 12cents/click within a designated space on your site. With that, I'm currently seeing effective CPMs of $0.30-$0.40, making it a strong choice for many.

WebsiteSponsors.com is all about CPC banners. They do indeed pay well, but support a smaller range of creative options than Sponsorships.net.

I would recommend both of these services.

huh? small range of creative options, can you explain a little more? Do you think that websitesponsors will be harder to be accepted? btw, all of sponsorships.net's pay per click things are gone, accept the sponsor box stuff, which I don't know why anyone would want to click on those

WebsiteSponsors is not currently accepting new members. Even when they were open to new sites, they were only supporting residents of the US and Canada.

Sponsorships.net has no minimum traffic guidelines, but they do review all sites before accepting them into the program to ensure compliance with their terms and quality criteria.

That means that Sponsorships.net is the only option for any of us right now. I hadn't realised the closed status of WebsiteSponsors' membership ranks until today.

dgessler, as I mentioned above, I've been seeing approx returns of $0.40CPM from the PPC sponsor boxes. You can see mine in action here (http://www.all-4-free.com). This makes their sponsor boxes as effective as banners in terms of revenue generation.
