New hosting??

ok.. i am not that rich, but i wnat to start a new host

first off i am going to do co-branded till i find a server with good price

what is the best co-branded out there???


best features and what not...

i looked at the co-branded area of FWP and that still gives me no idea

if there are ads, i want to be able to split it


portland.co.uk is SLOW, they have nice features but u have to be on there servers beofore u can host with them

I consider skipping the colo time and buy a dedicated server from http://www.4webspace.com . It's easy to use and only costs $99/month.

If you want to start a fwp, cobranding, portland is a good one but I really recommend http://www.communityarchitect.com (Previously known as Northsky)

But I would just get a dedicated server for 99 dollars and start from there... that is if you are serious about starting a FWP.

Oh and as for Community Architect, they give you 50% of all revenue made from ads, plus, they allow you to upload your own ads and they cycle it in with their ads so you not only get 50% from their ads that are displayed on your members pages, but you get 100% of your ads that are displayed on members pages (when they show up). Get that? Sounds confusing. lol

You shouldnt attempt to run a full fwp from a raq. The raq will just crumble. If you are going to use the RaQ3 for free hosting use it wisely. Don't run heavy scripts and be selective over who you host.
