Hello, I want to protect some files. What have I already done:
put a message in the statusbar, disabled right mouse clicking, but there's one problem. When you click on the link to a file, internet explorer shows the real location of my server(between you click a link and asks you where to save the file). Can I hide this or give up a fake location?
Any help would be kind! Thanx,

You can use smoke and mirrors but you will not be able to prevent people from getting the file. You can remove the status bar, if that's what you want to do, but all of this still won't prevent people from getting your files.

use .htaccess(I think that's the one) to password protect the directory with the files in it. Your host has to support it, but it's really the only way to get true protection for your files.

Errr.. well I assumed he wants to make these files available, yet not let people grab them and use them.
