You should change the image on the front page to something that goes along with the current site design, and stick with just the black and grey throughout the rest of the site.

The image on the intro page is very large and not all that attractive. In fact, I'd loose the intro altogether. The logo isn't very in keeping with the rest of the design, I'm not sure what exactly you could do to it, but it doesn't fit in well with the way the site is now. The background image is massive and doesn't tile at all, I'd loose it as the page background and maybe move it forward to a table cell background.
