On a quest for a host.

I'm looking for a free host to put my files.It's video files for my website.I'm looking for somewhere where I can upload my video files quickly and others can download them.Please help if you can

There aren't any free hosts that will allow such activity. Your only option is to use a file storage service and transfer the files to others' accounts. There will be a bandwidth limit of most likely one hundred megabytes so users will have to transfer the files to their accounts and download. The only one that doesn't require you to be a user of the service is JustOn, but it is slow since it's used for a lot of WaReZ sites. You can find a link to a list of storage places on the main page of FreeWebSpace.net.

By the way, what are these video files, and are they legal?

Hi, you could try http://www.chosenplanet.com. They will allow files up to 2.5 megs.
I don't know what they are like though.

I think that http://home.crosswinds.net/ will allow you to upload your own video files if they are copyrighted by you or if you have permission to upload them (or if they're 60 seconds long or shorter); if they're not "sample length," you must send them through CW's approval process first - for more information on this, visit the site.
