My suggestion would be for you to intall a server that has php, perl and mySQL already packaged for you. I can't think of the name at the moment, but I am sure someone here knows it.

well, i cant afford a web server. the only free one is www.f2s.com which is not accepting any member. i have a very fast connection and 24/7 online, why waste the connection? you might think that it is silly that i cant afford a webserver when i have fast connection and 24/7 online, it's because i am using my workplace computer. i have everything ready except for php. the only thing i need now is to setup php on my computer. please help me with this one.

with phptriad all you should need to do is install it and then in the start menu goto the phptriad item and click apache or start apache and also click start mysql. then to see if it works open your browser and go to http://127.0.0.1 . that should help
Cheers pickle
