I'm having problems with loading time for a site I made. It loads pretty fast for people in my area (PA, USA) but I've gotten complaints that it basically doesn't load for people in other countries across the globe. The address is http://www.reproglobal.com
Please tell me your location and loading time (or if it loads at all). I would really appreciate it as I've been told to sort out this mess immediately.

It loads, but it takes about 6 or 7 seconds until it gets a connection and begins to load... So thats extremely slow, and I have a 1.4mb cable modem....I recomend getting a new host. Is this one free?

OK...Now when I browse your site it loads nice and fast. A ping problem, maybe? Just connecting to the site takes a while, and after it connects its fast.

Nope, I pay for hosting with IMINteractive. I've been told its because of MyDomain (where the domain is parked) that it is so slow. The URL to where the site is directed is http://reproglobal.iminbudget.com/home.html
Please see if that loads fast.

Yes, thats very fast that way... I guess it is the domain. Transfer your domain to another domain registrar...Like http://dotster.com and I think they do transfer domains.

It's been about a month that all this trouble has been going on. All these times are completely different so I have no idea what the problem should be. Someone said that it can't be MyDomain, but then again it can't be my host. Does anyone have the correct solution to this?
Thanks everyone for checking the loading time.

I think I should also ask what time you guys tried loading it. Maybe it has something to do with downtime during a few hours.

6 seconds to connect around 4 pacific time...
Its most likely the domain. But it really could be the host. I checked them out and they seem pretty cheap. Are you sure theyre not lying? lol :/ I don't know what else could be wrong... :confused2

MyDomain has a tendency to suck. Not much of a surprise to me.

No, they are a very good host with nice support and everything. I know I can trust them. I monitered a few other sites being hosted by them for a while before I decided to go with them. I am about 85% sure that its not a problem with the host because I've seen other sites with them, but who knows? I hope to get this resolved.
Anyone out there with previous experiences with MyDomain?

Well, I guess I solved this problem with a rather silly solution. I didn't want to spend any more money and transfers and such, so I signed up with an account at -------- and just used that as a forwarding address at MyDomain. Strangely, it works now. Guess Mydomain is picky with somethings...
Anyways, I would still like your cooperation in loading times. It loads very fast for me (PA,USA)
Please provide the loading time, location, and time (possibly)
Thanks for your help.

I really don't know what to say. Everyone's responses are varied. Some users said that it isn't loading at all (for a week now) and others say it is good.

It took about 10 seconds to connect, then the page and graphics loaded very quickly. I am using a 56K dialup from Indiana. The page and images load very fast, but the connection time is your downfall.

Sorry about that, clerical error(640kbps).

No offense taken, if it had only taken me 2 secs to download the page, and if I actually had a dsl modem running at 640bps, I would be in possession of the greatest slow modem in the known universe.

1 sec, eastcoast, 10mbit, at posting time
There's quite a few images so i'd say that could be it, but everyone says once it connects it's lightning fast. Could be that their server has too many accounts (and therefor too many connections in Apache) but it does sound more likely that mydomain is the slowpoke here... Isn't mydomain free?
