I am about to install NS 4.08 and 6.2. Will they install independently without any problems if I install them on different directories, or there might be any problems?

i don't think there will be a problem

BUT it might overwrite the ns4 files in the system folder

They won't conflict with one another. I've got four Netscapes, all of them independent of each other.
