how does this layout look to you? any suggestions? I know that address is spelled wrong, and that top image doesnt load because it is inappropriate for people here to see.
what does this layout need or not need?

Solved your poll problem, look at your source:

You close the form right after you open it, the script's never run and, ergo, never shows up in the popup.

On the left side links with css background fill I would make link text lighter and easyier to read.

the image that doesn't load is aligned in the center while everything else is aligned on the right. This might not look good on higher resolutions.

Good thing to notice.
It looks centered when the image loads because its transparent and the whats on the banner is centered in relation to the rest of the page

Actually, I think it looks cool (and will fit the content I've seen).
Yes, the banner/top thing is centered but the rest of the page is not. Why don't you make it liquid? My only suggestion.
