I know nothing about JSP, but PHP is widely supported and is probably a lot more popular. So, I'd use PHP.

i think PHP+MYSQL is the best choose!!!
i like ASP,but ~~~~~i am ready to learn PHP now!

Better for what purpose? I don't really know much about JSP, but I'm sure it has its strong points as does PHP. It would depend on the project which language is better suited.

You can just study the manuals at php.net, or go to your local library and try to find some books on it.

Or, as I prefer to do, just download a bunch of free scripts and teach yourself by example. That's how I learn everything.
