FTP Programs

Does anyone know a good, free FTP Program that lets you upload files as BINARY and ASCII?

I use Smart FTP and it's really impressive for a freebie. Does anyone know how to use the local drive browser with it though? I usually end up dragging files in from Explorer which is a bit inconvenient. :(

SmartFTP is pretty much the best.

Maverick - The only way I know of to use the local drive browser is during upload and download. Its pretty easy there since you can highlight multiple files and upload them together (automatically chooses binary and ascii).

Thanks for the reply, the problem is I can see the local browser and look at the folders but can't see what's inside them without right clicking and opening an Explorer window. Seems like a very silly way of going about it and I find it hard to believe this is the way you're supposed to go about it. :(
