What would you expect to pay for a dedicated server with these specs?
Well there are 2 configs:
Either an AMD Intel white box system
AMD -
1Ghz 512 MB Ram, 20GB HD, DUAL ETH
Intel
900Mhz 512MB Ram, 40GB HD, 1 Eth
We can also custom build dedicated servers, it would just be a few extra $$ to add IDE Raid and other options like RAM.
Our network backbone is with UUnet and Cable and Wireless, we have a OC-12 Fully light.
Each server has a 100MB feed and bandwidth is free untill 600GB's each additional GB is $1.00
and WHat is a "white box"? and what of a 100MB feed?

$599 a month for either. With no setup fee

Does the fact that the price is less than 1/4 of that seem suspicious?
and What is a white box?

They probably just mean a white rack-optimized server...:confused2
$349 a month, $500 setup?
Gayowulf

$250 setup
$89/mo
what does the term "white" mean?
niv

(I know white is not a color... :p)

I just think that price is a little low for all that is offered.
sure is tempting though; I am quickly outgrowing shared hosting.

Only $89/Month....?!?! That is very low. I know some shared-hosting that goes for that price.

I will answer your question about being able to offer hosting so cheap.
We are able to offer this pricing because we have a great deal with a
Data Center in South Jersey. They have a redundant OC-12 backbone with
UUnet and Cable and Wireless and are also getting a 3rd connection from
level3. The Data Center is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which
cut down on the building costs for them which they have passed on to
us. If the same type of facility was built in Philly it would have cost
over 6 Million $ to build. Another thing that makes us cheaper than
other providers is that we are able to buy the parts for building the
dedicated servers @ cost since we have partnerships with key
distributers and we arent trying to make back the money we put out. Our
machines are just as good as everyone elses, but they cost us less. We
use only Name brand parts. Our servers are either 1 or 2u. If you would
like more information about the network let me know. Our we site is
down and being redone for our new years special.
Thats why the low price

Reseller plan? This is a dedicated server plan...last time I checked.
You can probably resell the space, but that's not all you're limited to.

Who did you email?
I was told that a Raq costs the same per month but less for set up fee.
