never mind... them saying this:

"A joint venture we have with Dotster will allow you to register your domain name for only $15 per year."

and having their url to dotster as "http://www.commission-junction.com/track/track.dll?AID=1099463&PID=613457&URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Edotster%2Ecom"

has led me to believe that they are some type of scam... hell they even said their owner has been in some magazines and tv shows...

well if they offer all that they must be SOME kind of scam (IMO) a static IP addy? that usally is only pay hosts

oh well, try them, wont hurt me :)

lol, naw, hosting problems is the only reason my site is not already open, i have tryed like 11 different host and there was somthin wrong wit all of em...

Who cares if they're reliable/scam/whatever if you're just testing them out? I'll try hosting one of my new .mu domains there and see what's up...

im not looking for someone to test out... im looking for someone to host my site...

i need as much space as i can get as long as its enough for a site with lots of pictures and videos and an active ikonboard, perl with php or perl with ssi or perl with both... domain hosting would make it better but not required... i don't mind ads as long as they are not at the very top of every page and as long as they are just a 468 by 60 banner or better...

me to because i can not get that damn form to work...

and i signed up for netcabins yesterday, the thing said i would be e-mailed in an hour or whatever and i never got an e-mail...

actually it wouldn't be cheating them... why should somthing such as free domains be offered to only people who live in a certain area? they lose nothing...

i signed up for there service with one of my domains so i will report if it works or if its a scam.

Woofcat can you get me some .mu domains i'm having some trouble.

If you need a host for your domain so badly, why not just pay for one? They have some cheap cheap cheap packages online now-a-days.

do you not realize that this is a freewebspace forum that we are posting on? and the only way i know of to get here is from a free web space site... if i was looking for a host that i would pay for i would not be here... finding a pay host is way easier than finding a good free host... if i was looking for a pay host my site would have been hosted like 2 months ago...

Doesnt look good. But hey (You get what you pay for). Sent various emails still no reply. Hmmm when it looks to good to be true it usually is!. Oh well im off to find another host. BTW maybe their on holidays?. Has anyone else got their account setup yet?

I haven't, anyway i found my webhost a while ago, its worldzonepro. But its a pay host. I just like to test new things out. I won't be leaving webdude anytime soon :)
