Has anyone started selling pause-page ads yet? Someone had a thread about them some time ago, with a fast loading example. It would appear this would be a hit with advertisers.
I think these would be great to flash after members logged in to community sites.
Is anyone using them or near to bringing them online?
Thanks,
Mike

Greetings,
DKAds.com is the Network that posted about launching their "Pause Pages"(Intermediaries), some time ago here.
I believe they intend to launch the Intermediaries program just after the new year, or there abouts. I might be wrong on that, though.

its members were recently mailed to go ahead and enter the code. They are progressing in the deal, and will be emailing everyone when the links all go active. I am guessing it could be any day now, or next week, or the week after :-)

Hi Everyone!
We originally had the launch date planned for the start of Dec., however have since then pushed it back to the start of Jan pending a set of advertiser deals we still are working on finalizing.
We will be running mostly CPM based ads, which will pay webmasters between $0.75 CPM and $1.25 CPM, and occasional a CPC campaign, all of which will be $0.20 per click or higher. Once we get a large amount of demand for PausePage ads we will serve only CPM based ads.
All webmasters on our network are encouraged to put their codes up as soon as possible, even now ;) The codes will not display any default ads, if there are no ads in rotation, they will simply take you to the next page.
Off the record: I feel that we are coming close to completing the deal, and should be going sometime next week.
Regards,
Dan Ushman

im excieted about the new ad technology. I know gaming sites (myself) have always been known for having peopel who ignore banners, but with Pause Pages, if advertisers can make QUALITY ads, we might actually see gamers interested. Making the pages appealing to certain groups should be a great undertaking, but I am guessing we will see a lot of great things coming from the new service!

I'm excited about it. We have a few sites that require a login and are working on a large community site that we hope to have online pretty soon. We'll use pause-pages between our login and member pages.
One community site that I belong to uses full screen pop-ups between the login and member page. So for a few forced seconds the ad has my full attention.
This is much better and less intrusive than those damned annoying spawning popups.

Hi,
PausePages are a full page ad format that sits between a link
and the page that it directs to.
Happy Holidays!
