Has anyone ever had trouble with namecheap redirecting pages between the domain name and the IP address? We have a site where we registered the domain name at namecheap. When we go to the site the domain name appears in the URL bar but all requests go to the IP address (i.e. when moving the mouse over a link the status bar shows the IP and not the domain name.)
This is causing problems with the login monitoring on our site.

Does anyone know what I am referring to? And what do people mean when they say namecheap is not a reseller of domains?
How are they different from NSI?

Thanks,

Rob

Hmn... are you sure that you don't want to use A records or CNAMEs instead of URL-forwarding? URL-forwarding will only take care of getting you there... it doesn't really handle much beyond that.

NameCheap is a reseller of eNom.
