DSS Files

What are DSS files? I have having a few top sites list joining to my site and I want to know what they are cause they seem like they could be illigeal to use or get or whatever you do with them. I think they have something to do with T.V.

Could some one help me tell more about them?

Well DSS stands for Digital Satelite System. The files could be legit, but more often than not it has to do with the theft of satelite (mostly DirecTV) signals.
