I'm looking for a free web host that supports php and offers a postgresql database. Need to install a web stats script.

Web stats script? Uh, since MySQL is more popular and widely accepted, I suggest you use a script that uses the MySQL database.

Hi,

Can you suggest a decent looking one? The script I was going to install is the BEESTAT script. I've checked out a few but they don't record as much info as this.

Sorry, I am unable to give suggestions because all of the hosts I'm using have Webalizer (http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/) installed on the servers already, therefore I have no need to install one of my own.

Well I don't think you'll find such a host. About the script if you want you can try this one : www.phpee.com but uses mysql and not that many details.

Lex, installing a yours stats script, is really useful. You can have your counters for all your sites and why not offer counters to the others too.

I mean to some friends.

Don't forget to disable the signup page for the other people, if you don't want to offer counters to other people. For your friends you can create the accounts from the admin panel. I advice you though not to offer many counters to others. Maybe your host will not linke this.
