It's only when the full pop-up is displayed... same with all the pop-up ones! It really sux. :(

They do pay, I received a check from my testing period with them the other day, but because of their rules as to what counts as an impression you'll find you end up with a much lower number of impressions than you expect. In addition, their exit popup is ultra-spammy if you don't close it right away.

Overall, it's worth looking into if you don't have any other exit popups and you're thinking about adding some.
