Is Lord of the Rings any good?

I'm going to see it in a few hours... I personally think it looks like it's gonna suck, but tell me I'm not wasting $10 !!!

PS- Is it PG13 or rated R ?? I'd much rather be 17 tonight than 18 because the price difference is over $2 :D

Umm....okay. I haven't seen it, but it looks cool. Everyone I know who has seen it has really liked it, and I don't think they had ever even heard of the books before.

I know there a lot between states in Aus, but just wondering if you have anti-Aus blurbs there :confused:

I found the movie weird and confusing, but fighting scenes were fun. Wait, maybe I didn't understand the movie cuz I was making out with my girlfriend for 3/4 of it. Heheh, that explains everything! I say, see it if you read the books, if you haven't read the books, read them then go!

I didn't think it would be a make out movie. With all those orcs and everything. Oh well.

And, I guess that would be disappointing to find out there is no ending, but the series of books has 3 books, so they are making 3 movies. Actually, all 3 have been filmed already, but they are waiting for probably 2 years before realeasing the next one.

I wonder why they waited so late to release the first one if they've made all three already? Apparently, the movie makes more sense if you've read the books. (you would know the ending already, bummer.) Just like star wars, have to wait three years to make sense of it all. :rolleyes:
