What are your opinons on Virtual Private Servers? I came across http://www.shanje.com, they offer 100mb disk space, 4000mb data transfer. They allow unlimited domain names, unlimited pop3 email accounts, per domain email administration, SQL server databases, FrontPage2000 extensions, SSL enabled sites and they allow you to restrict ftp and mail quotas. Their control panel is very easy to use being quick and easy to make extra domains and sub-domains, pop3 mail accounts, etc. This all for US$50/month, then when you go over the 100mb disk space quota they charge and extra US$10/month. They also allow you to upgrade to higher bandwidth quotas.

Does anyone know of anywhere else which offers just as good of services?
4000mb data transfer? What does a standard website transfer per month?
Any opinons on Shanje?

Average site probably pulls 500MB-1GB of transfer a month, (which is why I think it is funny that people complain about portland).

$50 is expensive for that amount of traffic, but not for the ability to add to domains, etc. That is what you are paying for. Don't have any info on them though.

Any suggestions for other hosts which may offer more bandwidth?
