Well, it seems that Crosswinds is upgrading their system AGAIN!. Recently, I tried all day to connect to my Crosswinds ftp, but did not succeed even once. It always says "There are too many ftp users now"
I am just wondering, will their most recently upgrade correct this connection problem?

When I was a member at Crosswinds I always got that "too many users" thing. I actually got lucky only one time and finally connected.. but their FTP was slow.. after a couple months I moved outta there to get better FTP connection somewhere else. I ended up movin to surecity.com... but.. then they started to slow down and die eventually.

Oh, their latest upgrade will fix the FTP problem, IT WILL!!! I'm not sure about them removing the pop-ups though; I have confidence that they will remove them someday, however.

I think that an inline bottom banner like WZ would be good for CrossWinds and they'd keep more members because that's better than a damn popup.

That wouldn't do any good for us members who have frame-based websites; our navigation bars would look ugly (and I don't like turning off scrolling because that takes away the freedom of my site's visitors).

They had their "temporary" banner for quite a long time! They tasted the sweet taste of money, and I don't think they will go back to bannerless any day soon.
Crosswinds keep telling us that they were going to fix their FTP problem. One year have pass and I still can't get on FTP. If anyone still have a site there, I suggest you move!
