ummmmm... i see these offers for domains (like $8/yr or $10/yr) but if i get one of those, is there a $35/yr fee?
i remember last year, i saw this site selling domains for $20, but there was like a $35/yr everyone had to pay... sooooooooooo does it still exist?
anyone know any sites with about $10/yr domain without any hidden costs?

just a few years ago, the US government given Network Solutions, now Versign, complete control of the .COM .NET .ORG
which cause the prices of domain names to be $35
but Verisign no longer have all the controls over those TLD
they still have control over them, but they must allow other companies to sell those domain names
anyone company who wish to sell domain names must get accedited by ICANN and pay verisign $6 for every domain name they sell to verisign
w/ the increase in completion, it cause the decrease in the prices

just 6 yrs ago domain names were free ... hehe ;)
