Don't use the picture with the face. The buttons should be improved. Keep the background colours.

I like the color scheme and layout of your site. However--

1. Why on earth have you put the "free javascript" line at the top of the page? That's the first thing people see when they open your page! Isn't the first thing you want them to see your logo and what your site is about? Even worse, you've linked it. When people see it, they'll go straight to that link instead of look through the rest of your site. Put that at the bottom!

2. There's no logo and nothing in your header telling me what your site is about. Very bad. People have to be told instantly what your site is about. If they have to look too hard, they will move on.

3. Don't underline text that isn't linked! People always expect anything underlined to be linked.

4. Get rid of the "chat now" button and make it look like "Home," "Links," and "Contact"

5. Take "Add me" and "Webstats" and move them over to the column on the left. Right now they're scattered without rhyme or reason. :(

6. Align everything the same way on the left hand column!

Sorry about my criticism. I am ruthless! :o

The main weakness is lack of integrity in colors used. If you are using Blue tone, do not even touch RED :D

For me the image of face is a good start to start thinking about the layout. ( Well, I'm little biased towards blue color ;) )
