Before I might get myself in a hosting trap, I would like to get your guys opinion on this host.

There is only a custom plan. You start at $0.00 and pay for what you use for per month.
$0.10 per MB of storage space / per month
$0.01 per MB data transfer / per month
And they got everything you need. (unlimited ftp, cgi, php,mysql,subdomains,cron jobs, and so on....)

Qutoe "95% of our hosted sites pay less than $1.50 a month!"


Ok, this all sound like a really good deal and as well as too good to be true. I'm considering signing up with them, but has anyone been hosted by them? What is your take on this?

I have never heard anything about them, positive or negative. But it seems to good to be true. I wish all this to be true!!!!!:D

You realize they charge 10 bucks to the gig on transfer?

They say if your site runs about 50 views per day, it would cost $15/year. Now if you run a moderately popular site with lets say----500 visits a day. Thats $150/year. You can find a better deal since 500Views a day assuming 10k files only equals 150mb transfer/month.

Heh, I should've done the math. Yeah, I guess those are gear mostly toward small sites.

And if your website needs more than 100 megs of space, your doubly screwed. Pay-for-what-you-get is for small sites only.
