You should know that Opera can identify as itself, IE or NS but the default is IE. I don't remember what Moz' default is but the user agent string can easily be changed to anything.
Stats that just looks for user agent ( most I think) isn't reliable at all.

I use IE, but I usually have Webwasher (http://www.webwasher.com) running, and in that I've told it to replace browser identification with "Babbage difference engine". :p (Sometimes when I submit a form it sends a confirmation saying I submited using a Babbage difference engine... always fun. ;))

As it comes packaged with Windows, many people don't realise there are alternative browsers

My first browser was Netscape 3 which came packaged with my ISP setup CD.
I was a newbie then and my computer was second hand (cost more than this wizz bang one I have now  )
I was exploring all the programs that were already installed, including IE3 and when I clicked on the icon, it always wanted to set me up for the internet. So I always closed it :)
I figured I had an internet connection, so why do I need to set up again. I knew no different then and it wasn't till I had been on the net for a few months that I even twigged that IE was another browser.
Ahhhhhh the good old days :o
