About the Cyrix-- Is the 1ghz actual clock rating of "performance rating". I know cyrix is rampant about marking procs based on "pr" or performance rating. One thing I've learned is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Although I can see why its cheap since it has no CD-RW.

It's a 1 GIG. Pure 1000MHZ Processer. Cyrix have come back from the dead. I mean.. for a small kid.. who can complain?

A CD-RW 16x is $115.

They're still not much competition though. They were bought by some company(the name escapes me).
